  박수현 (Soo-Hyun Park )

Soo-Hyun Park has received his B.S., M.S. and PhD. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Korea. He worked as a senior research engineer of the R&D complex, LG Information & Communications, Ltd in Anyang, Korea. Now, he is a professor in School of Computer Science, Kookmin University, Seoul, Korea as well as an convenor of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC41 WG7 (Maritime, underwater IoT and Digital Twin applications). His current research interests include mobile communication, underwater communication and related areas.

 임용곤 (Yong-Kon Lim)

Youn-Kon Lim has got a B.S. in electrical engineering at Chungnam National University in 1979. He received a M.S. degree in electrical engineering at Chungnam National University in 1984. On top of that, he received a excellent Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering at Ajou University in 1994. From 2008.06 to 2011.05 he worked as the 12th president at Korea Research Institute of Ships&Oceans (KRISO) which is located in Daejeon, Korea . Furthermore he worked as a senior researcher and research director for KRISO for about 39 years, from 1980 to 2018. Currently he is a co-director in Special Communication and Convergence Service Research Center at Kookmin University. He is interested in Standardization of Underwater acoustic communications and development of ICT services.

원은태 (Eun-Tae Won)

Eun-Tae Won received B.S. in Computer Science
from Kyonggi University, Korea.

He received M.S. in Computer Science from
Chung-Ang University, Korea.

He received Ph.D. in Computer Science from
Kyonggi University, Korea

He worked as a principal engineer of Samsung
Research Center, Samsung Electronics, Ltd in Seoul, Korea.

He had been a R&D engineer in the field
of Telecommunication System and Short-Range Wireless Communications over 25
years. He was a founding member and chair of IEEE 802.15.7 Task Group on WPAN.

He is currently responsible of research and
standardization work on the underwater communication and related areas.

 

임현택  (Hyun-Taek Lim)

Hyun-Taek Lim has received his B.S. in Public Administration from Korea University. Further, he received his M.S. degree in Public Policy and Administration(MPPA) from Colorado State University, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Hoseo Univeristy. He is currently the Chairman of Korea Institute of Smart Oceans and Fisheries(KISOF). He has worked in the The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as the Director of Public Relations, the Director of Metropolitan Transportation, the Director of Maritime Land Development. He also worked in The Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, while working there he also worked abroad for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA). In the Incheon Metropolitan City he worked as the Director General for the Maritime and Fisheries Cooperation. He currently work as the Collaborative Professor in the Special Communication and Convergence Service Research Center at Kookmin University. His current research interests are Self-driving ships, underwater drones, and eco-friendly ships.
