Soo-Hyun Park holds Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.), and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering, all of which he earned at Korea University in Seoul, Korea. Previously, he served as a senior research engineer at the R&D complex of LG Information & Communications, Ltd, located in Anyang, Korea. Currently, he holds the position of professor in the School of Computer Science at Kookmin University, also situated in Seoul, Korea. His ongoing research interests encompass various areas, with a focus on mobile communication, underwater communication, and related fields.

Youn-Kon Lim completed his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in electrical engineering from Chungnam National University in 1979. He continued his studies and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in electrical engineering from the same university in 1984. Building on his educational background, he achieved an outstanding Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from Ajou University in 1994. From June 2008 to May 2011, he assumed the role of the 12th president at the Korea Research Institute of Ships & Oceans (KRISO) in Daejeon, Korea. Moreover, he dedicated nearly 39 years of his career to KRISO, serving as a senior researcher and research director from 1980 to 2018. Currently, Youn-Kon Lim holds the position of co-director at the Special Communication and Convergence Service Research Center at Kookmin University. His primary areas of interest lie in the standardization of underwater acoustic communications and the development of ICT services.

Hyun-Taek Lim has an educational and professional background that spans various facets of public administration, policy, and engineering: He commenced his academic journey by attaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Administration from Korea University. Subsequently, he pursued further education and achieved a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from Colorado State University in the USA. He continued his academic pursuits and successfully obtained a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Hoseo University. In his professional career, Hyun-Taek Lim has held several significant roles: He currently serves as the Chairman of the Korea Institute of Smart Oceans and Fisheries (KISOF). He has previously worked in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, where he held positions such as Director of Public Relations, Director of Metropolitan Transportation, and Director of Maritime Land Development. He also contributed to The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, where he had the opportunity to work with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) while stationed abroad. In Incheon Metropolitan City, he served as the Director General for Maritime and Fisheries Cooperation. Currently, he holds the position of Collaborative Professor at the Special Communication and Convergence Service Research Center at Kookmin University. His current research interests encompass cutting-edge topics such as self-driving ships, underwater drones, and eco-friendly ship technologies.
